Brussels. One of Us welcomes the 2025 report of the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women and Girls, which identifies surrogacy as a practice that entails multiple forms of violence and exploitation. We call on European institutions and Member States to enact robust protections for women and children and to move decisively toward prohibiting surrogacy.
